Patricia Ithau- Board Chair
Patricia Ithau is an alumni of both The University of Nairobi (B Com Hons) and United States International University (MBA). A Fellow of the Marketing Society of Kenya and with vast experience spanning over 20years in several industries, she has a passion for women and children.
Dr. Sam Thenya- Founder& CEO
Dr. Sam Thenya, a medical doctor by profession, is the CEO and founder of the Nairobi Women's Hospital. He holds MBCHB and MMed (Obs/Gyn) degrees, both from the University of Nairobi and an Msc Degree in Management and Organizational Development at the United States International University (USIU).
Shakir Merali-Director
Mr. Shakir holds a BSc and an MSc with Distinction, both from the London School of Economics. A partner with Aureos Capital, based in Nairobi, he has direct responsibility for overseeing the deployment of the Africa Health Fund which has been recently set up to finance companies looking to build out their portfolio of products and services in healthcare.
Lawrence Ndombi-HR Director
A champion of HR, Mr. Ndombi has been a business leader with over 20 years of experience. The Leader of Business Partner Consulting, he has an MBA, a Bachelor of Commerce (Bcom) degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in Business Administration and has been appointed to the highest level of the Institute of Human Resource Management (K) as a Fellow Member.
Wendy Mukuru-Finance Director
With a wealth of experience within the Health sector and the financial services industry, Wendy Mukuru is adept at conducting diligence on new investment opportunities and managing investments. She holds a B.Sc. Business Administration, Finance Option from California State University, Los Angeles and is currently working for Aureos Capital.
